Driving around the lake, I see all the icy docks and empty boat lifts next to the shore - it makes me yearn for the summer months when we both can get into the water again. However, this is the time of year when the lake is ruled by snowmobilers and ice fishing, and we have a BIG event this winter that you won't want to miss. Mark your calendars and attend the 14th Annual Big Eagle Lake Ice Fishing Contest on Saturday, February 6th. The contest begins at noon and ends at 3:00. Even if you don't fish, there’s lots of fun, food and games for all. We hope to see you there!
